4 THE LIGHT QUARTET – COMING HOME: A FAREWELL CONCERT

Sunday, November 8, 2026 • 3:00 PM Mt. Comfort Church 3179 N 600 W Greenfield, IN 46140

After 24 years of sharing the Gospel in song, 4 The Light Quartet is coming home to where it all began.

In 2002, at what was then Mt. Comfort United Methodist Church, a simple invitation to sing tenor helped begin a journey none of us could have imagined. The Mt. Comfort Men’s Quartet was born, and through changing names, changing faces, thousands of miles, and countless churches, fairs, festivals and special events, that little church quartet eventually became 4 The Light Quartet.

Now, because of age, health concerns, and the changing seasons of life—including growing families and grandchildren—Mike Hoyt, Don Paff, Tim Clark and Darvin Fenter will be saying farewell as a quartet at the end of 2026.

On Sunday, November 8, we have the special opportunity to return to Mt. Comfort Church for one of our farewell concerts—back to the church where this journey began.

We hope you’ll join us for an afternoon of Southern Gospel music, old hymns, four-part harmony, stories, memories, laughter, and probably a few tears as we celebrate what God has allowed us to do together over these many years.

We’re also back in the studio completing one final recording project as 4 The Light Quartet, and we plan to have the new project available on flash drives at the concert.

Twenty-four years ago, we couldn't have known where this journey would take us.

It seems only fitting that before we sing that final note together, we come home and sing once more where it all began.
